Erró is one of the founders of the Narrative Figuration movement in France in the early 1960s.
During his stay in Paris, he was influenced by surrealist artists and critics such as André Breton, Roberto Matta, Victor Brauner, André Masson, Max Ernst, Man Ray, Joan Miró, and Marcel Duchamp.
Valerio Adami, Hervé Télémaque, and Peter Klasen.
Erró played a key role in the development of Narrative Figuration, blending elements of comic strips with socio-political subjects in his works. His work is characterized by a prolific and quirky use of popular imagery, often detached from its original context. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and artistic interventions, exploring various techniques, including aquagravure.
